A Busy Week of Events: #S20C #MUS13 and #LISalesConnect

It was a busy week for me. I was part of three separate events in San Francisco. First was the Sales 2.0 Conference, then I spoke with Jason Miller at the Marketo User Summit on the best practices of using social media for lead generation and then the biggest event of all (for me) was the LinkedIn Sales Connect event.

It’s always fun and exciting when I get to go up on stage and talk to people about social media and how it can be applied for measurable business results. Big thanks to Marketo for inviting me to your user conference and letting me be a part of the sessions. All of the feedback from the audience and what was said on Twitter was very positive and I hope I get the opportunity to do it again.

Then it was time for LinkedIn Sales Connect. Since the day I started working at LinkedIn this was a big project for the team. This was the first big production of the LinkedIn Sales Solutions group to an audience. We had some big names on a Social Selling panel like Jill Konrath , Miles Austin and Kurt Shaver that I got to moderate and I was able to close out the event by hosting a customer panel where we got to share some amazing stories about how companies are using LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive some big results for their sales efforts.

Here are some of my favorite tweets from the past week including those from the events. Be sure to click the Read More button to see the rest.

Koka Sexton

Koka Sexton is a renowned expert in social selling. Some would say Koka Sexton is the reason social selling exists, he would say that social selling existed once buyers went online. A recognized expert in social selling that has produced revenue for B2B companies, Koka continues to make generating new business the focus of social media. Finding creative ways to plan, develop and execute content marketing campaigns that break through the noise and provide value to buyers in excess of what they expect.
