Interview at Dreamforce with Matt Childs of Vidcaster

Every year Dreamforce gets a little bigger and finding time to talk to the people you know best becomes more difficult. Thankfully I can always count on a great conversation Matt Childs currently the VP of Sales and Strategy at Vidcaster. Vidcaster is a video marketing platform that gives businesses the power to launch branded video channels on their domain without the need for IT and development resources.

This year Matt and I talked about my move to LinkedIn and how the Sales Solutions product LinkedIn Sales Navigator is uniquely positioned to be the most impactful application for sales professionals.

Social Selling has evolved over the past couple of years.  I believe that one of the major shifts I am seeing is that we are reaching the tipping point and sales people around the globe are now ‘getting it’ and adopting social selling applications like LinkedIn as part of their regular process. I believe that now with the supporting data of the success companies can achieve by leveraging social selling, that this is inevitable across all industries.
