Part of the plan for 2008 was to get SOCOM sales a new look and feel that makes navigation and posts a better experience. I searched far and wide and was about to drop $500 dollars from my advertising revenue into a theme to be created for me. I understand why people are willing to pay extravagant amounts of money for a cool looking site but that would not be the SOCOM way. Does that make me cheap? Maybe, but it also lets me stay rich by keeping the money I make from my advertisers and developing a site from templates and making them better.
