The wonderful world of Hulu.com

I recently won access to one of the webs newest and most sought after Beta programs. Hulu.com is a place where you can get an all access pass to the latest and most talked about television programs on your computer. The Hulu web2.0 portal brings full length episodes from shows like House, Family Guy and The office. Besides full length episodes, Hulu has a growing list of hundreds of clips from great episodes of Saturday Night Live, Cops, and even Prison Break.
Getting access to the Hulu Beta program was something I had been hoping to get for quiet a while and though I had already asked for a Beta account from their website, I ended up getting one much quicker from TechBurgh when they were giving out 50 free invitations.

Hulu’s ambitious and never-ending mission is to help you find and enjoy the world’s premium content when, where and how you want it. We hope to provide you with the web’s most comprehensive selection of premium programming across all genres and formats – television shows, feature films, clips, and more. Additionally, we want to give you more choices of when and where you can enjoy your favorite programming, while creating innovative experiences that let you watch and participate in online video in new and exciting ways.

Sure you can go to the networks homepage and dig through to find episodes you want to watch, but why not get your fix of Donald Trump and the Celebrity Apprentice then jump right into your favorite episode of Heroes? Once Hulu goes live for the public, I am sure that they are going to have some high demand. The servers didn’t jump and the episodes streamed over my cable internet connection seamlessly.
On top of giving Beta testers the ability to watch these episodes. You can also grab the embed code of the clips and post them on your blog.

Hulu is my new favorite site. Fancast is a good one too, but links back to hulu a lot. hulu makes it easy to find the best shows on tv or that used to be on tv and find episodes. I like the way you can embed entire episodes or clips of shows onto your own blog or website.
Two thumbs up for this partnership between nbc and fox.
