Doing a radio show

With today marking 5 years in Iraq the media is focused on the war and what people think about it. After returning from Iraq I had the opportunity to do a couple interviews and had letters I wrote home published in newspapers. I have a large collection of pictures on my tour in my Flickr album. Those of you that have been reading this blog for a while know that’s how this site started to begin with.
Now I typically write about social media and technology subjects because deep down I am just a geek that carried a machine gun for a while. That is unless there is something I feel like I need to talk about related to my time in the Army and I am always willing to share my tales with people. I got a txt from my friend Jeremy and asked if I would go along with him to do a radio show that was going to talk about the Army and what we did in Iraq. Jeremy is actively involved with a group called Vets for Freedom which I wrote about back in September.
I am going to be on KGO Radio 810AM talking with Gil Gross Thursday 3/20. The show starts at 2pm PST but I don’t think we are coming on until 3pm. I don’t know what to expect from the show or what questions we are going to be asked. My understanding is that this is not going to be a political conversation but more about what each of us did in Iraq, what we experienced and things along those lines.
I am going to try to get a recording of the show to save along with the other interviews. If you get the station and are interested, you should tune in.
