Bitter sweet Problogger Book delivery

I got home from my trip to SoCal and saw a treat waiting for me in my mailbox. “WooHoo!” I thought when I saw the box from Amazon. My copy of Problogger arrived. Once I opened the box my excitement turned to frustration when I saw immediately that my book had been damaged before shipment.
It must have been done in part of the pick and pull process. The book looks like a gremlin tried eating it.
So now I have sent in for a replacement from Amazon. I’m not angry, these things happen I guess. But I have been waiting for this book for weeks and it’s very anticlimactic when I have to return it.

thanks for ordering it – sorry to hear it arrived damaged – I hate when that happens! Looking forward to hearing how you find the book.

@Darren, No worries. I know it’s not your fault. I’ve gotten through a couple chapters since I can’t mail it until tomorrow anyway. Amazon was nice enough to 2-day my replacement. So I’ll have my review written by the end of the week.

Those mail gremlins get vicious after midnight.

You know what they say about anticipation….
Hope your book arrives safely soon,

Have they made you return it? They should let you keep it and just send a new one out. My friend once bought the Scream DVD box set and found one of the dvds skipped, they told him to keep the whole thing and sent him a brand new complete box. I’m now the proud owner of a scream box set with one skipping disk
Thanks for ordering the book, hope you like it when you get a pristine copy!

@chrisg I got my copy eventually. The book is well written. As I mentioned in the book review, a lot of the information was basic but I have found myself referring to specific sections of the book a lot over the past couple weeks.
