The long awaited iPhone was released today and the thousands of people that had been camped out in front of stores for the past few days have had their dreams realized. Well most of them. The magic of the Apple marketing machine is that many people were able to get one, but there were many more that were too far back in line to get their hands on the coveted phone.

I must admit, the Apple marketing frenzy did it’s job. Not since the release of the PS2 have I seen such lines wrapping around buildings. Well, maybe when Terminator 2 was released as well.

I figure I am going to wait until the next generation of iPhone gets put out. for some reason it has become common practice to release a product just to be first to market then fix the known issues as time goes on.

But regardless of what you think of the iPhone, you must admit, it looks damn cool!
