So I got a great treat yesterday from Mrs. Sexton for our anniversary. Initially I thought it was a large bottle of cologne or something, but then as I peeled back the wrapping paper, I realized it was so much better than my wildest imagination. My very own 8GB iPhone.

Time to throw the Blackberry 7100g in the trash and join the congregation of Apple iPhone owners. I couldn’t even wait to charge it or activate it before turning it on and staring at the shiny new black and silver piece of heaven I now owned.

Since I already had Cingular, configuring the iPhone for activation was very easy and web based. I had it activated in under 5 minutes and was able to start playing with all of the cool buttons. The optimized internet and the ability to use a WiFi network or the cell network is also a great feature.

This may be the best gift I have ever received
